Hi Kim! I didn't actually print the chart. I just noticed the border very faintly in the pattern. Looks like a few people found their own ways of getting the lacy border to show up though. Hope you're able to get your chart straightened out and can stitch in that lovely border. Cat

Hi everyone...what i did to get the border very clear was to open the file with Adobe photoshop, then click Image,Adjustments,Brightness/Contrast and set both sliders to -100 (far left)and voila!hope this helps!!pls note that the rest of the pattern will become black so you'll have to finish the rest first, then get the border showing,or vice versa! Thanks, catnap. I transferred the chart to PhotoPlus 7 via PagePlus 11, magnified the image to 5x, played around with the contrast and colours, and there was the border! I doubt it will print well, and I'm not sure my eyes will cope, but it will be fun to try.

Hi everyone! Yes, this is a really pretty picture and the border is great! When I looked at the pattern I started to think the same as you all. Take a second and have another, closer look! Whoever charted this pattern made a BOO BOO! The lace border is actually there... just showing as white!!! The black triangles are white.... so is the back stitching(long stitch).It's hard to see, but if you look really closely you can see it faintly. Maybe if you changed to "grayscale" or something once the rest of the pattern is stitched! Cat
